This policy explains what Azure Collection Yachts collects, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. Azure Collection Yachts is a trade name of John-X LLC, a Florida limited liability company (“we”, “us”). Questions: booking@azurecollectionyachts.com or WhatsApp +1 (786) 960-2159.
What we collect
- Charter requests and bookings: your name, mobile number, email, charter date and time, group size, occasion, add-ons, preferences you share (such as drinks, dietary needs or celebrations), and any partner or referral code used.
- Payments: card payments are processed by our payment provider. We see the amount and status of a payment, never your full card number.
- The Azure Insider: your name, email, mobile number, birthday month if you give it, and your offer preferences.
- Partners and ambassadors: your name, business, role, email, mobile number, area, who introduced you, your commissions and payouts, and the IRS Form W-9 you upload for tax reporting.
- Yacht owners and captains: contact details, vessel details and photos, rates, payout handles, and the licenses, registration and insurance documents you upload.
- Website use: privacy-friendly visit statistics (pages viewed, approximate country, device type) that do not use cookies or identify you. The site also saves a few things in your own browser, such as a partner or referral code for up to 90 days, so the right person gets credit.
How we use it
- To answer your request, check availability, send quotes, confirm bookings and send trip details.
- To credit partners, ambassadors and Insiders for referrals, and to pay commissions and credits.
- To review and work with yacht owners and captains, and confirm their vessels are properly documented.
- To send offers, open dates and Insider news, only if you said yes. You can opt out any time.
- To keep records we are required to keep, including tax records, and to prevent fraud.
Who we share it with
- The yacht operator and captain for your booking, so they can run your charter. After booking, we introduce you in a group chat that includes us.
- Service providers that run our tools for us: Google Workspace (email, files and our booking records), Brevo (email newsletters), Stripe (card payments), Cloudflare (website hosting and visit statistics) and WhatsApp (messaging). They may use your details only to provide their service to us.
- Partners: if you booked with a partner’s code, the partner sees your first name and last initial, your charter date, group size, yacht size and booking status, so they know their commission is coming. They never see your phone number, email or payment details.
- Authorities when the law requires it, for example tax reporting for partner commissions.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your mobile number or your text-message consent with anyone for their own marketing.
Text messages, WhatsApp and email
If you give us your mobile number with a request, we contact you about that request by phone, text or WhatsApp. If you opt in to offers, we may send occasional marketing messages. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of texts, or click “unsubscribe” in any email. Opting out of offers does not stop messages about a booking you have made.
W-9s and owner documents
W-9 forms and owner documents are stored in a private folder in our company Google account, separate from our booking records. Only Azure Collection can open them. We keep W-9s for as long as US tax rules require.
How long we keep it
We keep booking records for up to 7 years for tax and accounting reasons, and Insider, partner and owner details while you remain active and for a reasonable time after. You can ask us to delete your details sooner, unless we must keep them by law.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop marketing. Email booking@azurecollectionyachts.com and we will reply within 30 days.
Children
Our services are for adults. Bookings must be made by someone 21 or older, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Security
We use reputable providers, private folders and access limited to our team. No system is perfectly secure, so please never send card numbers or Social Security numbers by text, WhatsApp or email.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
